Enzymes:  
Protease Blend: Consists of alkaline, neutral and acid proteases plus peptidase. Our protease blend includes proteases that are active in a wide range of pH's, ensuring that protein digestion will begin in the stomach.  It also includes enzymes with a wide range of specificities (i.e. both endo- and exo- peptidase) in order to ensure the highest degree of protein degradation.
Amylase and Glucoamylase: Supplementation with amylase and glucoamylase allows digestion of carbohydrates during their transit through the gastrointestinal tract.  These enzymes can tolerate the low pH of the gastric juice.  The amylase hydrolyzes the starchy foods and liberates maltoses whereas the glucoamylase removes D-glucose residues by hydrolyzing 1,4 D-glucosidic bonds.  Glucoamylase from Aspergillus niger can also cleave the 1,6 D-glucosidic bonds found in amylopectin.'
Lipase: Assists in the break down of fats/fatty acids.  Aids the gallbladder when under duress.

Note: some people have specific needs where more Lipase is required than is included in a general digestive enzyme supplement. It is often desirable in these cases to supplement with additional Lipase. This is particularly needed if you have gall bladder problems, have high cholesterol, loose bowels or diarrhea, after eating fatty food, or excessively dry scaly skin.

Pectinase: Pectinase breaks down pectin, a non-cellulose polysaccharide commonly found in fruits and vegetables.
Cellulase: Assists in the break down of fiber foods.  Used with malabsorption and/or malnutrition.

Rose Hips contain one hundred times more vitamin C than any other food.  This herb alone is stronger than the synthetic products on the market.  Rose hips is known for its anti-inflammatory abilities.  Combined with herbs, rose hips compliment their usage and reduces the affects of sine allergy-producing substances.

Acerola Extract: Vitamins A, B1, B2 ,B3, B6, C; Ca, Mg, Na, K, P, Fe.

Acerola extract: is made up of vitamin C rich fruits.  Acerola berries have 1,000 to 3,000 mg of vitamin C per 100 grams of edible fruit.  Essentially, that's 100 times the content of oranges.  In addition to its huge vitamin C content, the Acerola extract also functions as an antioxidant.
